Nationless Flags is an example of the many “nationless” flags that Hesselholdt & Mejlvang has produced in order to free this symbol from its attachment to a specific nation or territory, to let the flag free. The flag design is made by combining different geometries from existing flags into a new, more complex pattern. Combined, they form a new transnational flag. A new order is in the making, offering an abstract integration instead of division.
