Rejseskyer, 2024

Reliefs in stoneware faience and LED on acrylic. Variable dimensions.

Permanent commission for three procedure rooms at the Children and Youth Department at Hvidovre Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark.

A piece of the sky has been brought indoors. These ceramic clouds, painted in soft pastel hues, resemble the sky at different times of day. The clouds have come to life—they are wild, vibrant, and full of movement. As you observe them, new shapes and forms appear, evoking a sense of familiarity. You are invited to explore these shifting images and create your own narrative. The installation serves as a space of freedom, a "travel room," where both the eye and the mind can wander. The title can be loosely translated as "Traveling Clouds."
The project is generously supported by the Danish Arts Foundation.
